“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” – Carl Jung
We all face difficulties in life that overwhelm us. How we recover from this overwhelm has a lot to do with the social support and resources in our lives, but also how we make sense of the difficulty. In my approach to therapy I endeavor to build safe and supportive relationships in which my clients can examine their thoughts and feelings about their concerns, deepen self-awareness, strengthen inner resources and social supports, and ultimately progress toward their goals for themselves and their relationships.
Background:
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience serving diverse clients within university, healthcare, and community mental health settings. I have been working in human services and counseling positions in both the United States and Canada for over 12 years. I am from the Chicago area and spent time providing social services in the city, before heading off to Minneapolis for my master’s degree, and then to Vancouver where I earned my doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2014.
Therapy:
I provide therapy for individuals, couples and families and have experience working with all age groups. I am able to help with a wide variety of difficulties, and have significant experience with issues related to physical health and body which include: panic, trauma, health anxiety, injury, illness, sexuality and gender concerns.
Psychological Testing:
I also offer a variety of psychological assessments in the following areas:
- Personality testing
- Academic achievement and vocational testing
- Neuropsychological and intelligence testing

Assessment results are integrated in a full individualized report that can inform affected individuals, physicians, therapists, teachers, and parents about appropriate lifestyle changes, interventions, and central issues in medical or mental health treatment.
