-Ernest Hemingway
Seeking help is one of the bravest things an individual can do. In the midst of difficult, life-changing experiences, it is comforting knowing we are not alone. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I help clients modify unhealthy thinking and behavior that leads to enduring improvement in their mood and functioning. Often times, just a simple change in perspective can vastly improve a person’s outlook on their situation. I strive to create a warm, secure environment where anyone can feel comfortable sharing their story.
What you should expect to get from therapy:
• to be treated with unconditional respect
• to know that your concerns have been heard
• to work together towards achieving your goals
• to frequently evaluate progress towards your goals.
• to be able to see real change
